Cesare Infernati
Don of the Infernati Family
Cesare Infernati was born in Italy during an era when the title "Don" was emerging as a mark of nobility and respect. Abandoned to the streets as a child, he survived by gathering other forsaken children into a small gang. Together, they lived like rats, stealing what they needed to see another sunrise.
As Cesare and his accomplices grew, so did their ambitions. Petty theft could no longer sustain them, and so they turned to other means. They started with extortion which then led to contract killings. However, assassination proved the most lucrative of their trades. Soon their name carried weight among the dregs of society—and eventually, whispers of their misdeeds reached to the heights of nobility.
Smug nobles, ever in need of deniable violence, paid handsomely. What had been a gang of gutter orphans became a respected and feared criminal enterprise, with Cesare at its head.
He ruled until his dying day.
